A Message from Dean

“The hardest part of having cancer isn’t what it has done to me.

It’s knowing that the people I love have been forced to walk this journey with me.

If I could carry this burden alone, I would. But cancer doesn’t work that way. It affects spouses, children, parents, siblings, friends, everyone who loves you.

What gives me the strength to keep going isn’t just fighting for myself. It’s knowing I can never give up on the people who have never given up on me.

I spread love. I spread laughter. That’s who I’ve always been, and that’s who I’ll continue to be.

Giving up would mean letting down the people I love.

That will never happen.

Every single day, I get to fight.

There’s something else that’s important to me.

I refuse to become “the cancer guy.”

Long before cancer entered my life, I was a husband, a father, a best friend, a business owner, a teammate, and someone who genuinely loves making people smile.

I STILL AM.

Cancer is just one part of my story. It is not my identity.

This disease wants to consume your life. It wants to dominate your thoughts, your conversations, and how the world sees you.

I won’t let it.

I have cancer.
